NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING & PUBLIC HEARING

Mendocino County Planning Commission PUBLIC MEETING on December 1, 2016 at 3:00pm in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, 501 Low Gap Road, Ukiah, Ca. – to hear a staff presentation & accept public comments, but not take action, on the draft Mitigated Negative Declaration for the County’s proposed Medical Cannabis Cultivation Regulation Ordinance 

Mendocino County Planning Commission PUBLIC HEARING on December 15, 2016 at 10:00AM in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, 501 Low Gap Road, Ukiah, Ca. – to make the Planning Commissions report and recommendations to the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors on the County’s proposed Medical Cannabis Cultivation Regulation Ordinance

NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF DRAFT MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR PUBLIC REVIEW

A copy of the draft Mitigated Negative Declaration is available for public review at 860 North Bush Street, Ukiah Ca, and at 120 West Fir Street, Fort Bragg Ca. The staff report will be available on the Department of Planning & Building Services website at http://co.mendocino.ca.us/planning/publicnotices.htm 10 days prior to the public meeting December 1st.

The proposed Mitigated Negative Declaration will undergo a 30-day public review period, during which time, comments will be received, starting November 14th, 2016 and ending December 14, 2016. Public comments should be submitted to The Department of Planning & Building Services Commission Staff, at 860 North Bush Street, Ukiah Ca, no later than December 14th 2016. Oral comments may be presented to the Planning Commission during the Public Meeting or at the Public Hearing.

NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADOPT MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION

The Planning Commission’s action regarding the County’s proposed Medical Cannabis Cultivation Regulation Ordinance shall be a report and recommendation to the Board of Supervisors.

The Board of Supervisors will also have a public hearing on the adoption of the Medical Cannabis Cultivation Regulation Ordinance and the draft Mitigated Negative Declaration, see below.

The Board of Supervisors adoption of the Medical Cannabis Cultivation Regulation Ordinance shall be the final decision of the County.

If you challenge the Medical Cannabis Cultivation Regulation Ordinance in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearings described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Department of Planning and Building Services, the Planning Commission, or the Board of Supervisors at, or prior to, the respective public hearings. All persons are invited to appear and present testimony in this matter.

Government Committee 1:30 PM, Initial presentation of non-cultivation cannabis licensing i.e. dispensaries, manufacturing, etc.

Monday December 19 & Tuesday December 20

Board of Supervisor’s Meetings at 9 AM – 12 PM, Anticipated review of the Medical Cannabis Cultivation Ordinance following the Planning Commission’s report and recommendations on the County’s proposed Medical Cannabis Cultivation Regulation Ordinance, POSSIBLE MOTION TO ADOPT.
