Signature Gathering KICK-OFF Meeting – Monday May 2 in Ukiah

We are LAUNCHING THIS SIGNATURE DRIVE!!   We held off in the hopes that we would get the ordinance we wanted from the Board of Supervisors on April 18, but now we need to bring out our most powerful weapon – the people’s vote.

HERE’S ALL IT WILL TAKE:  If 20 people get a total of 250 signatures, we’re IN.

THE BREAKDOWN:  32 signatures per week for 8 weeks.  That’s all.  Each petition sheet has 8 spaces on the page for signatures.  So just 4 sheets per week gives us the 32 each week that we need from each person.

If you are one of 20 people in this equation, you will work with the support of your district captain.  You may enlist helpers – friends, neighbors, family members – JUST GET THOSE 32 SIGNATURES PER WEEK!  (of course we could use many more than 20 people – this is just an example of how we can get the signatures.)

If you are a business, have the clipboard on the counter and encourage your customers to sign.  Have voter registration forms if they are not yet registered.

DISTRICT CAPTAINS AND ANYONE ELSE WHO WANTS TO BE FULLY INFORMED AND EQUIPPED WITH ALL THE ACCESSORIES YOU NEED – COME TO THE KICK-OFF MEETING:

Monday May 2, 2016 at 6:30 pm in downtown Ukiah

Please email mendocinoheritageinitiative[at]gmail.com for location/directions.

There will be petitions, clipboards, pens, initiative text, instructions, lawn signs, posters, stickers….whatever else we can get together by Monday.

LET’S WIN THIS THING!!!
